We are capturing an old VHS video with our Pinnacle DC1000 card running Premier 6.0, but the final captured movie keeps freezing, at intervals, for less than a second. We have used Composite video input and constant data rate 6M/Bits.
Anyone has any idea ? Are the settings the problem ? What should we use then ?
It sounds like you've captured your video directly to MPEG2 IBP format. Premiere cannot edit this video format. If you want to edit your video, you'll have to capture in a format that Premiere understands and transcode your edited video for use in DVD authoring.
