DVD Architect or ReelDVD.....
on Oct 28, 2003 at 2:44:40 am

I am currently using DVD Architect and about to start a business transferring home video to dvd. What I am concerned about is if DVD Architect will produce dvd's that are compatible with my clients standalone dvd players. I realize that I wont achieve 100% compatibility but I want the most compatible software for burning and authoring dvds. Do you guys think DVD Architect is sufficient or should I look at purchasing ReelDVD? I have read a lot about it and it seems to be one of the best authoring tools and produce dvd's that are much more compatible with dvd players. I am using a Pioneer A05 dvd burner which is supported by ReelDVD. Any info is appreciated.
Thanks,
Ron

If I were starting a business I would not use DVD Architect, I would go ahead and get ReelDVD or take a look at Adobe Encore DVD.

As for compatibility of DVD-r media, I would go with Verbatim media, I have had the best compatibility rate with Verbatim regardless what authoring software I use.

Regards
Michael
