The debate rolls on. Which format do you find is most compatable with home players, the +or -?

Thanks!

Bill

I have an early RCA home disk player that plays
-R, +R, and +RW. It doesn't read -RW at all.

I'm beginning to think that +R is better for me, at least. But I would say get a burner that does them all if you ever need to be compatible with others' players. Forget the debate. Just adapt to what is and will be.

My 3 Toshiba players (1750, 2200, 6200) will play TDK DVD-Rs and TDK DVD+RWs (using the bitsetting utility for the +RWs). They will not play TDK's +Rs. I understand that they will play other brands' +Rs.

I am using TDK's 440 multi-format burner.
