Labeling the DVD disk

I've heard that because DVD players run MUCH hotter then the standard CD player that it could be a problem using the typical stick-on disk label, problems with balancing, label coming off in player, etc. Is there a printer out there specifically made for "printing" onto or "painting" images onto the disk itself? More like a professional labeling system?

Casio makes a thermal one, the CW-50, that can print monochrome text for about $100.

The Epson Stylus Photo 960 prints full color on inkjet media for about $350.
