We just added a cool new product to for DVD producers. Actually it is a service. It's called CustomFlix Publishing Kit. Basically it lets you market and sell your DVD w/o having to carry any inventory. This means your upfront costs are only the $59.95 for the kit. You make the DVD and send it to CustomFlix in the mailer theat comes with the kit. Then you set up your pricing on their website and add some marketing hype. You send your customers to your CustomFlix listing to order. CustomFlix processes the orders, duplicates the DVD, then ships it to your customer. You get sent the profits. Here is how it works:

Once you buy your DVD Publishing Kit, you set the price of your titles. CustomFlix keeps the first $9.95 + 5% of each sale, you keep the rest. If you price you sell your DVD for $24.95 you make $13.75 everytime someone buys a copy. That means:

- 4 sales pay for your CustomFlix kit
- 20 sales pays for your new DVD burner
- 100 sales pays for your NLE or capture card
- 500 sales is $6,875 in your pocket!!

YOU set the price of your video so YOU decide how much profit you make from each sale!

Thanks Gary.

The reason that the CustomFlix DVD Publishing Kit makes so much sense for many DVD producers, is that we offer the final steps necessary to take a project to market. Many of us have looked into getting discs replicated and setting up online merchant accounts - but the upfront costs are high and the truth often is that a producer doesn't know how many copies he or she is going to sell.

With the Publishing Kit, simply burn your project onto the media included in the box, setup an account at http://customflix.com/, upload some graphics and drop the disc in the mail. We then marry up the disc with the graphics, create an e-store (with the producer's look & feel). Once the producer has blessed the e-store, we open it up for business and are ready to start taking orders. If a customer comes to the store and orders one copy, we make one copy and ship it to the customer. The producer sets the price - CustomFlix will take the first $9.95 +5%, the producer gets the rest. At the end of the month the producer gets a full accounting of how many copies were sold and receives a profit check. No hassle, no steep up-front setup fees and the producer always retains all the rights to the project.

We are the same guys that brought you Media Cleaner Pro in the 90's. And just as Media Cleaner was very successful in helping producers effortlessly go from final edited programs to the highest-quality streaming media, we see CustomFlix helping producers offer their final edited programs for sale in physical form - DVD and VHS - which is what consumers have clearly indicated that this is the type of product that they'll purchase.
