Which DVD authoring software can do motion menus?
on Jan 17, 2003 at 2:06:15 pm

I have DVDit PE 2.54 put it does not support motion menus.
I really can't wait two months for them to release the next version.
But I don't want to spend too much on it.
Any Ideas?
TIA

Dazzle DVD Complete Deluxe but you have restrictions on placing the buttons etc. However you do get video in the buttons and for the main backround. $99. Imports muxed or separate files but only supports LPCM and MPEG Layer 2 audio, no AC3.

Also, Ulead's DVD Workshop and Pinnacle's Studio 8.

Pinnacle Impression DVD Pro also supports motion menus (while Impression DVD SE doesn't). Lots of constraints though. Putting buttons is very tricky and time consuming. I haven't tried out other DVD authoring software, but overall I must say that "Impression DVD" is giving me a hard time.
