Copying custom DVD's for offsite backup on
on Dec 30, 2002 at 6:35:27 pm

I use Prassi that came with my Pioneer A03 drive. I can copy the files from my custom created DVD (DVDit PE) to the HD, and then burn another DVD copy for offsite backup from those files. It works fine.

I purchased a panasonic DMR-e30 to fast-track getting all the old VHS to digit quickly (no import, encoding, etc.). But when I try to make a copy of these DVD's, it result doesn't work correctly. The resulting DVD doesn't display the menu that the panasonic automatically provides.

I just realized that I'm not creating an audio_ts Directory, but nor is the Panasonic. What is the difference? Software issue? Audio_ts issue?

thanks....
