I produce a lot of short movies (up to 10 minutes) in miniDV quality which I show around in my presentations. Recently I got Notebook with integrated DVD. Can I burn those movies in DVD quality on normal CD-R's with usual CD-R burner, but CD's should behave as DVD discs (of course with much less space). If it is possible, then please explain how and with what?
You can put dvd content on a CD, and as long as the computer you are running it on has the 'horses' to play the disc AND you have dvd emulation software--your computer should be able to play these kinds of discs (DVDonCD or MiniDVD or etc.)as though they were 'dvd's'. If your computer has at least a P3 500 Mhz and 8x speed cdrom, you should be 'OK'. The two limitations to this are the fact that you can't fit as much material (depends on your encoding parameters), and they won't (for the vast majority of set top players) play on dvd set tops.
