Just wondering if they are as simple as they sound.
Are they just buttons that have some type of animation with them?
I can't really think of any specific examples, which is why I can't picture what they really are.
"Motion menus" are menus in dvd playback that have an animated background with buttons you can select. For example, you could have four thumbnail "picture in picture" to select lets say a particular movie or video clip. Each of the thumbnails is actually a short clip representing the video it's associated with as a 'button'. The thumbnail itself is 'moving', but the highlight around it is stationary. The Shrek dvd has the donkey bouncing around the 'motion menu', but the buttons themselves are stationary.
