Audio Menue's in Sonic DVDit
on Sep 3, 2002 at 1:29:03 pm

Hi there
I have made some menue's in Sonic DVDit and have put in audio that I converted from an MP3 to a WAV. First I tried importing the MP3 but it said it was not supported so I converted it to a WAV and imported it. Everything plays fine and works but when I begin to create making the VCD it says that the audio bit rate is not supported and stops the creation, so I have to delete the audio in order to create the VCD. Does anyone know what WAV bitrates are supported and what a good program is for converting audio to another format? Thanks in advance for you time and help!

I suspect when you converted your mp3 you made a wave file that was 44.1 khz and not 48 khz, 16 bit. Check the settings of your audio convertor to see if that is the case. The dvd spec won't accept 44.1 khz audio.

Hi there
Thanks for your advice, yes I think this is the case. The audio converter I used does not support 48 khz 16bit, could anyone recomend an audio converter that does? Thanks for your time!
