Xpress Pro HD has full multicam support. it is SWEET!

You get to preview up to 4 streams of video and you cut between them as you watch. the results of your cuts end up on the timeline.

Gary,

Does Xpress Pro HD handle multi-cam different than Xpress Pro?

Yes. Witht he new HD version you can see all the previews in full motion in realtime. This allows you to cut on the fly between sources.

Xpress pro lets you gang clips toggether for multi-camera editing, but it is not as streamlined and powerful.

Okay for upgrade to DH
on Apr 24, 2005 at 11:26:17 am

Thanks Gary, was wondering if my current computer configuration is okay for Xpress Pro HD or does it need a boost?

P4 3Ghz, 1 Gig Ram, 40 Gig system drive, 100 gig video drive with a 250 Gig SATA drive that I haven't installed yet. I don't plan to edit HDV until late in the year or mayb early next year when I can afford a HDV cam.
