Multiple video clips in one screen
on Mar 18, 2005 at 4:09:08 am

Hello all,

I have a Pinnacle Pro1 card and Adobe Premiere 6.5 at home. I was just messing around with Final Cut Pro HD on a Mac earlier. I was very, very impressed with its abilities.

I was wondering. Is it possible to do a multiple video effect on one screen using Premiere? Or better yet, is it possible to resize a clip easily, move it around the preview monitor, and align it to a pre-rendered Photoshop background?

I was able to do all these things on Final Cut Pro. I was able to drag multiple video clips into one screen (sequence) and resize the video clips easily. It was very impressive.

As of now, that only thing that I know that comes barely close to this feature is doing a split screen effect by using a superimposed video track and the transparency option.

Any ideas on how to get multiple (at least 4) clips into one screen in Premiere?

Thanks!

Carlo
