Working LE6 on 915G with on board graphics
on Jan 18, 2005 at 5:02:20 am

Can I Work in LE6 pro with onboard card on 915G chipset?

I, donn't know if it is fine to edit video with Liquid Edition Pro 6 on 915G board without using another DX9 card. Will it work? Any suggation?

"Intel GMA 900 supports DirectX 9"- required for LE6......?

LE6 requires a direct x9 graphics card for best results. We do not recommend Mobos with built-in graphics for NLE. if the graphics onboard are an issue, you can't edit.

I know about on board graphics issue.

I am a just willilng to start video editing. Low Budget!. (Later will think of upgrade, to PCI express Graphics). As far i know Intel GMA 900 (included on (915G mobo) fully supports DirectX 9. I can share upto 128MB (specified in magazine reviews).

Should this work with 2GB DDR 400 in dual channel mode. CPU is 3Ghz. (at least for the time i am learning to edit in LE6)
