Are your exporting to a FAT32 formatted hard drive? FAT32 hard drive have a filesize limit that NTFS doesn't.

Some software gets around the FAT32 filsize limit, typically 2 GB, by using a software driver that automatically splits your video into hidden 2 GB chunks. The real solution is to use NTFS formatted hard drives and turn the software splitter off, if possible. A command windows utility, CONVERT, will convert your FAT32 formatted drives to NTFS without losing any data.

Open a command window by clicking Start, Run and enter CMD. Then enter:
CONVERT /?
to see the syntax of the command.

For example, to convert drive D, you would enter:
CONVERT D: /FS:NTFS
