I am using Premiere 6.5. What I am trying to do is combine multiple .mpg files into a single video. No editing, just splicing a couple of clips end-to-end.
When I open the clips, they play at their normal speed. Next I add them to the project (into the bin), and then "Insert at edit line". After this is done, playing them through the Monitor Window causes them to be slow and choppy. Exporting and then viewing is the same as Monitor: choppy.
I'm not sure if I am using the incorrect project format, or if it is something else. Is there a way to autodetect the clips properties and then use them to record the final product, or export to .mpg format?
