How do you move a project to another computer?

I have a school lab with four editing PCs (Pinnacle/Premiere)and have recently linked them together with a hub.

What is the most effective way to move projects from one PC to another?

Example: We have a completed 10 minutes segment of a larger project on editor #1, but have decided we want to finish the entire one hour project on editor #4. We want timeline and clip folder to all transfer over without destroying the integrity of the completed timeline. However, we don't plan on making any further edits to this particular segment. I would prefer it show up on editor #4 as one single 10-minute clip.

Should we use export timeline movie to #4's data drive, or is there a better, quicker way?

if you want it to show up as a single clip you have to export your timeline to a movie. exporting over a network may work, but i'd still say to do it on the local machine's drive then transfer it when you're done.

My video drive is housed in a carrier with dedicated cooling fan. The drive stays cool, and I can switch between video drives and computers easily.
