Premiere 6.0 and preview window

I want to know if there is a way to get the preview window to run outside the Premiere Window. I run 2 monitors. What I would like to accomplish is to run the preview full screen on my 2nd monitor. Has anyone else done this successfully or have an easy alternitive?

Scott

use an NTSC monitor for previewing/playback and your duel monitors for workspace.

Does your video display card have a TV out port? If not, you could try double-clicking on any clip in the timeline to get it to play in a full sized clip window. You should be able to drag the clip window into the desktop area that is mapped to your second monitor. Your are correct, this idea won't work if you have applied effects or have compositing video layers.

You can export the timeline to create a .avi, .mov, .rm or format you prefer, then play the clip by double clicking on it the project bin (you need to import the video).

Just a couple of ideas for you.
