Ah, one more question from me. Thank you all for your patience.
I have a whole bunch of mpeg1 files I wish to convert to mpeg2 and edit them all together to make a DVD. I know, it may not be the greatest looking quality, but what is the easiest/cheapest/best way to do this. My primary editing software now is Media Studio Pro 6.5.
If you want a laugh, I used Dazzle's DVC software to make these mpeg1's. Thank you very much.
Don't have much experience doing this, but this is what I would do: I would save my mpeg files to my hard drive then convert them to AVI's (as I'm not too sure how good MPEG 1 is for editing). Then I would edit them. From there I would convert them to MPEG 2 (think you might have to convert to MPEG 2 IFB or something like that, depending upon your DVD authoring software. Also check what audio format the DVD authoring uses so you can convert it to Wave, PCM or other)and burn them onto a DVD using DVDit or whatever DVD authoring software you want.
