Adobe After Effects - 3d question
on Sep 23, 2002 at 9:06:58 pm

Hi folks.

I'm new to Adobe After Effects ... I'm trying to create a "spinning logo" -- basically a 3-D effect of the company logo.

I know how to spin it, but the result is flat -- just a 2D logo spinning around.

How can I add some depth to it? I want to give the logo some "thickness" as it rotates around.

Any tips you can provide would be appreciated.

Thanks,

-GG.

They only way I know of to do 3D inside AE is to use Invigorator by Zaxwerks

I just got the Adobe Digital Production Bundle this past Friday (two days ago). I am at the bottom of the learning curve. :)
(that is not something new....)

If you get Boris Continnum for AE, you can extrude and bevel anything with an alpha channel. Boris RED will let you do that right inside your NLE.
