That's a good, ready system, except you need more RAM! But RAM isn't too expensive. I'd get at least another 512 MB.

How do people get buy with a 120GB hard drive? I have over 650GB just in external drives and I STILL run out of space from time to time.

But yeah, more memory for you. I'm currently running on 512MB and have issues.

1) get more RAM at least 1GB for Premeire Pro.
2) Take the 120GB drive and make it the system drive. That small 20GB drive is probably pretty slow.
3) Buy a big 250GB drive for your video and media files.
4) Ditch the old G400 card and get an off the shelf 128 meg gaming card for around $150

You'll end up spending about $500 on these upgrades, but you'll be glad you did !

Hmm, I have two 160GB drives and I still run out of space, although I usually run audio at 24/48, which eats up a good amount of space on its own. For RAM, 1GB should be the bare minimum for editing decent quality video.
