Graphics card

I'm looking for recommendations on a good graphics card w/ dual monitor support, and that will allow me to preview on my TV monitor. I'm thinking approximately $200 price range ($250 tops). Also, I plan on starting with one monitor and upgrading to 2 in the near future. I'm assuming that you can in fact use one monitor on a dual support card, and just plug in the second whenever you want, correct?

I will be using Vegas 5 or Liquid Edition on a P4 3GHz, WinXP system.

Am I missing any other vital components I need to consider in making my decision?
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, Jon.

Can I hook the nvidia 280nvs up to a TV monitor as well? It appears to me to only have one port.

What about nVIDIA Quadro4 380 XGL (for a few bucks more)? Or the nVidia GeForce FX5900SE (around $200)? Both of these seem to have additional ports. How do the three compare?
