Capture from Video Cassette Tape
on Jun 5, 2004 at 3:37:43 pm

I've been using Pinnacle Studio 9 for DVD capture. However, I would like to capture some TV tapes recorded on a Panasonic Video Cassette Recorder (preferably with Dazzle DVC 80 on USB2). The problem is getting AV output from the VCR which only has scart and normal TV output. Do I have to buy a TV tuner card?

This is quite easy, purchase a SCART converter / adaptor which will convert the SCART output into 3 phono outputs (composite video, left channel audio and right channel audio). This adaptor is also switchable for input and output.
Available from most audio / visual retailers cost about £4 GBP.
