Choosing a videocard
on Apr 21, 2004 at 7:57:16 am

Since Matrox and Canopus have their advantages and disadvantages, which card can replace my FAST FPS 60 ? Fast is still working but the rendering speed is too slow.
My specifications and needs are:
1. 16:9 support
2. Premiere support (6.5 or Pro)
3. Windows 2000 or Xp
4. Hardware acceleration on rendering
5. Unlimited time capture in one file (no 2 or 4 GB problem)
6. DVD authoring (motion menu, multiple audio & subtitles)
Thank you
Konstantinos

Well, the RT.X100 bundle can handle all of your specs, except you'll need to use Windows XP. Most effects will be realtime with no rendering. Transcoding your projects for DVD can also be realtime using the Matrox Export plugin.
