Which NLE is more likely to install/work well?
on Sep 5, 2003 at 8:24:04 pm

Present system is:
Asus A7m266D with dual MP1800+
Midiman Delta 66 audio card
Adaptec SCSI controller (2- plextor CD-RW)
Several ATA/100, 7200 rpm drives in the motherboord.
Maxtor ATA/133 PCI card with 1 maxtor drive & Pioneer A106
ATI Radeon 7000 (dual monitor capable)
Linksys 10/100 NIC
Win 2000 Pro
1 gig ram

Currently using Premiere 6.5 w/ DV.now AV and DVDit SE.
Which is likely to be better (have fewer problems) on the above system:

Edition 5 Pro or RT.X100 or RT.X10?

Thanks

Well, I'm running an A7M266D with dual MP2100+, Audigy, 3-ATA100 hard drives, G550, 3c905c, A03, W2K Pro, 1 GB RAM, and an RT.X100, and it works fine. I especially like the realtime transcoding for DVD. As long as you do your captures to an ATA100 drive on IDE2 master, you should be fine.
