Video a Computer Screen

I am going to be videographing a training video and there will be software training. I am not allowed to install anything on the computer in which training is being done on.

I have 2 Sony FDR AX100's, 1 Sony ea50uh, NEX 6, and 2 HDR 550v's. I will probably only use the AX100's and not even bring the others.

I understand that adjusting shutter speed will help, seems 30 or 60 is the magic number. I am not clear on the reasons why though. I would like to shoot with the FDR in 4K but it only offers 30P in that resolution. It has a nice HD codec though with 60P.

Shutter speed works to remove/reduce horizontal lines. But, if I zoom in I start getting vertical lines. Is there any suggestions as to something I may do to video computer monitors in a way that produces the most clean result without any lines? Maybe a filter or something out there?

there's no way you can use quicktime's screen recording? doesn't get much better than that.
