Ranking Digital & Analog Tape Formats In Terms in Quality

Working on ranking digital & analog tape formats in terms of highest quality to lowest quality. I know that it's foolish/difficult to compare them when there are a variety of factors like analog vs digital, composite vs component vs semi component, etc, but I just wanted to get a rough idea of overall quality.

This is the order I've managed to come up with so far, but I know there are discrepancies. Thoughts?

Hierarchy In Terms of Quality (highest to lowest)
D-2
D-1
DigiBeta
DVCPro
DV, DVCAM
Betacam SP
MII
Type C (1")
Umatic (3/4", KC)
HI-8, S-VHS
8MM
Betamax
VHS
2" Quad

I also know that there are other formats that I am leaving out such as 1" Type B, 1" Type A, Betacam, Digital 8 etc, but the ones above are the only ones I'm studying. Thanks for your expertise guys

The top of the list should be D1, D5, Digibeta.

D2 and D3 are practically indistinguishable, I'm not sure whether to put them above or below the more compressed digital component, DVCPro and DVCam. Probably above on a good day.

2" Quad should be above 1"C. I thought 1"B was potentially better than 1"C, but more of a pita to operate. I never saw 1"A in action so I don't have an opinion about that.
