Hey guys....I am a wedding Videographer and have been using the Sony HXR-MC2000 as my primary with the HXR-MC50U as a second for over a year now- they are great and excellent in low light with the "low lux" feature on. But, I am ready to step up. I used the Sony NEX-VG30 on a loan for wedding this past Saturday as a complimentary camera and the APS-C in 24 mode looked amazing. However, (and maybe I just need to learn the settings) it didn't appear as good in low light. I am tossed.
I have about $3000 to $3500 to spend and am looking at upgrading my primary camera to Sony's NEX-VG30, SONY NEX-VG900 or Panasonic's HMC-150...or any other that you would consider to be the best "bang for the buck" for weddings, low light and in that price range!
Thanks so much- Dave Thomas, Just Joey Video Productions
