I've got a video editing program that gets the job done for what I need. It's PowerDirector 9.
I'm interested in creating a super slow motion effect. PowerDirector can do slow motion. Pretty much as slow as I want but when you get down to super slow motion, it gets jumpy. I need something that can "tween" frames.
But I have been going around and around in circles trying to find a solution that won't cost me $600 plus for something like Sony Vegas Pro or other PC based software that can handle the Twixtor add on.
On the Apple side, I've got an old Macbook but it can't be upgraded so that it can handle Apple's Motion 5 with Optical Flow. A computer store that specializes in repairing and upgrading Macs just told me so.
So, is there some sort of Windows 7 based solution that can create a smooth super slow motion effect? Even from just raw mp4 HD footage? Ie, I don't mind doing the super slow motion on a raw segment then importing that into PowerDirector.
I've got plenty of horsepower on my PC for video editing. In fact, I had my tech guy build my Win 7 machine from the ground up specifically for HD video editing.
