Is the HP ZR30W a good choice for HD 10bit color monitoring or would you recommend something else?
I have a broadcast Panasonic P2HD camera that is full raster 1920x1080 HD and is also 10bit color. I just upgraded my Edius software to version 6 as it now supports 10bit color. I also purchased a new HP Z800 workstation with dual Xeon processors, 8GB ram and the new Quadro 2000 video card. Looking to upgrade to an IPS LCD monitor with a displayport connection.
I'm looking at the HP ZR30W monitor which is 10 bit for each RGB (hp calls it 30bit) producing over a billion colors, 99% of the Adobe RGB spectrum and over 102% of the NTSC colors. Is this my best choice for the most accurate color when doing color correction?
