Is Lacie Rugged ok for HD editing?

Hi there.
Can anyone advise me if the Lacie Rugged 1TB drive will handle HD editing? Possibly P2 or XDCAM-EX, but preferably ProRes 422. Speed and/or number of streams anybody?

Many thanks in advance!
Rob

no. you need a 7200 rpm drive for hd work. for long form hd or complex multi-layered projects you want a g-tech g-raid
