Hi

Your (any) comments about following system is much appreciated. At present I am experiencing choppy video(draft quality video on monitor) and slowing the process on my Dell Dimension 8400(Pentium4/3.4GHz,2GB DDR2 RAM, 500GB HDD)when running Adobe PPro CS4. Video Camera used Sony PMW EX1 with Sony SXS memory cards.

The system I am intend to buy is mainly to run the APPRo CS5 initially and later associated Adobe Master Collection programs( Eg. Fireworks, Dreamweaver, After Effects,Encore, Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop and Soundbooth).

go to the Adobe forums and post this.

1) no Dell or HP.

2) unless you are buying Dual Xeons 2.93 or higher 12 core

you are far better off with a SINGLE 980x.
you dont mention your format so its hard to tell you.
AVCHD/XDCam/Red all need 2 sets raid 0 or higher. (especially Red)


minimum for CS5 is 12 gig with 24 gig being ideal DDR3 1600 is a better option.

It's (Sony) XDCamera. using SXS mem cards

Why u say NO for Dell & HP. I have been using Dell since 1995. THere after sales service was very good for me in the past.

What do u think about the RAID 5 system with 3 600GB SAS HDD?
