Effect of using one CCD camera while capturing DVCAM footage
on Jun 8, 2010 at 3:08:50 am

Hello....everybody....

I have a quest in my mind....although my client never complaint about the quality of the final output I offer, but one thing started itching me that ....does using one CCD cam like entry level camcorders for digitization of DVCAM footage (shot in 3CCD camera) instead of a 3CCD cam or VTR like DSR-45 or DSR 11 degrade the quality or resolution of the footage?

I have been often using low entry level camcorders for the transfer of the footage...finish editing and along with DVD authoring do the the mastering i.e. "dump out to the tape" or "tape out" through the same one CCD camera.

Can anyone explain..
