I started off thinking that the Matrox RT100 was something. It might be good to beginners. I was going to buy one until I saw my buddy's. It Sux! I mean, it's ok - but I wouldn't buy it now. The DVSTORM2 is the new boy in town. Everything is improved over the old one and it can do it all plus more. Also they say YUV is better the RGB. I just think DVSTORM2 is a step up - sorry RT100 Matrox'rs. I really wanted to get the Newtek system, but I can't afford it right now. DVSTORM2 is more professional than M A T R O X in my opinion. I have a duel 2.8 Xeon, XP professional, one ATA/100 120 gig system drive, three 73 gig Ultra/160 10,000 media drives (all internal), 1 gig ram, DVD+R+RW, two 17in UltraSharp LCD digital monitors, Quadro4 64meg video card. It's pretty tight . .
