Can anyone tell me what Windows XP compatible program(s) will allow one to mix at least 1 stereo and 2 mono audio tracks into a video? (more would be better). The source videos will be short QT movies for the most part, but some avi's and wmv's may be used. However, saving to QT is preferred though not required.
This is actually for someone else who doesn't need to edit the videos; they just need to add/edit music and sound(s) to match. Apparently there are many audio editors out there, but they're looking for something that will allow flexible editing of the audio while previewing the video and not have to switch back and forth to/from another application.
There's also no requirement to have a final high-quality video produced from whatever package is available, but the audio must be synched precisely for preliminary reviews. The audio sources will vary from wav, mp3, wma, etc.
