Capture error
on Oct 20, 2007 at 12:12:36 am

So, I build a PC per Gary's recommendation.
Installed CS3, Was trying to capture and got the famous error:reset the VCR
Q: should I proceed and Install Matrox RTX2 or, should I try to fix the problem first?

and what is the firewire connected to?? (camera? converter box?)

that is the hardware you need to tell CS3 is connected.

well go back and verify under 'device control' your camera is set.
(I don't have CS3, I have 2.0 , but mine is located on the 'settings' tab, seen when you are trying to capture.

Adobe could of moved it when they changed their version.

It is on the list and selected, but still no respond.
Q: should I proceed with RTx2 installation or try to fix this first?
