Converting(?) VOB Files
on Oct 17, 2007 at 4:36:51 pm

I have a video file produced with an old Pinnacle program in VOB format. I have Roxio and Premiere now but they won't open the video. Do I need to convert those files? To What? With What?
Thanks!!!

Rename the VOB file to MPG. Import the MPG into Premiere. Drop it on the timeline. Render the timeline. Export the timeline as an AVI. Then it will be in a format that you can edit with Premiere.

Thank you John Q! I would have NEVER thought renaming the file was an option. Still very new at this and really appreciate your help....
