Pioneer Blu-Ray Burner
on Aug 18, 2007 at 2:01:53 am

I'm hoping this is the product I'm looking for, but since none of the bundles include Final Cut Studio, maybe not. Can this burner be used with a Mac Pro with FCS 2? If not, any recommendations?

Thank you.

BDR-202 with a Mac...
on Nov 23, 2007 at 2:41:15 pm

I purchased it and when I got it I realized the connections are completely different for it and a Mac Pro. I feel like this was the VIDEOGUYS responsibility to tell me this. I will be returning it unless there is an easy conversion kit to connect it. Any MAc experts out there know how to connect this drive?

install blue-ray in macpro
on Feb 26, 2008 at 3:11:44 am

you should be able to search. it's pretty easy to install a burner in the macpro.

just need a sata right angle cable and an adapter from molex to sata for power...i believe they have a link here at videoguys.

my big questions is will it work in Encore CS3, and Leopard 10.5.2.

anyone have any updated info on this?

thnx.
