Built new system for <$1000.

Help, everything is installed and ready to go. The Bios recognizes the hard drives but when I try to load Windows, the hard drives cannot be found. help!!!!!

By the way, Jon, I tried to call and talk to you today, but the lady said I had to be a customer to talk to anyone. I told her that was insane. We are going crazy here and just wanted to talk to someone.

did you connect the drives to the SATA RAID controller instead of the normal SATA? we don't offer phone support for building computers, but if you email me directly or post on here i'll try to help you out.

Tried both ways, neither worked.

Disconnect all non-OS hard drives. and see if your OS drive will boot.

what MOBO do you have?

did you tell the BIOS which drive you wanted to be boot?
What did you setup as the boot order of devices?

Well after talking ASUS, they have determined that it is either the motherboard or the processor. How can you test them?

your post lack enough info to help you

sounds like a bios setting(s). (if your bios sees the HDDs... look at the little settings & make sure they are what you want them to be.... your owner's manual should tell you which each means)
