Greetings from a newbe.
I am having frustration with getting VOB files in the correct encoded format to edit in Premiere Pro 2.0
I may be setting up premiere incorrectly as well.
The output will be a Quicktime file or another than can be used in Apple's Keynote.
I have good VOB's (from a DVD), (that have captions that I want to loose), but am unable to find or choose the correct software or output setting to encode the tracks so:
1. They can be imported at there native resolution (720x480; 29.97fps, 48000Hz)
2. Both the audio and video are present
3. A way I can either loose the captions as I encode or loose them in Premiere Pro 2.0
I open the project in Premiere as NTSC 4800Hz project. That may be my initial problem. I am a newbe here.
If encoded to avi’s it’s only the audio I get in Premiere (that is with the apps I am using)
If mpg it’s small
If I need to post this in another of the forums please advise.
You help and guidance are greatly appreciated.
