I`m ready to build a new computer based on the RT.X2. However my first problem is what case to use. On the Matrox site they have only validated two Antec cases, both of which come with their own PSUs.
I would like to use my own 700watt power supply, and wonder if anyone can recommend a good case in which to house the RT.X2.
I had considered the THERMALTAKE CASE SWING VB6000BNS BLACK but have since been told it would not support a dual Xeon. My other consided case would be the ThermalTake Eureka VC8000BWA Black - has anyone used this case yet with the RT.X2 or have any suggestions that I may consider (price would not be the main consideration)
Thanks in advace Mike
a case is a case. (if it lacks a power supply)
Determine your case by the size (will it fit full size card if you will be purchasing one) and options (like easier removal of HDD and DVD drives, etc...) and front ports for USB and/or firewire, etc...
OHHHH and fan placements / openings for air movement.
should i add; some better brands elimate the sharp edges.
