How about this Core 2 Duo cfg - a good choice for Adobe????
on Oct 14, 2006 at 4:37:45 pm

Asus P5W-DH Deluxe
Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86Ghz 2mb Shared Cache
2 GB DDR2-800 CL4 Crucial Ballistix BL12864AA804
PNY Quadro FX560
1 Western Digital 74gb 10k RPM SATA
2 Seagate 320 Gb SATA-II 16mb Cache

Any major mistakes with this configuration for the Adobe suite?

Approximately how much faster will this be than the Black DIY 4 system?

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

Or this one where they compare the performance of all of the new Conroes against existing Intel and AMD dual core CPUs

It's a lengthy to me but the standard benchies start at around Page 7. But to summarise the findings, in applivations the 6300 has similiar performance to the current 950 and in games it was faster than the 965 extreme edition.
