Sup all -

I have been using a DV500 plus for quite a few years now. I just installed Premiere Pro 2 and I noticed that the DV500 doesnt work with it and the video isnt getting rendered in real time.

Whats a good way to make this work. Of course you all know rendering takes forever.

Any suggestions is appreciated.

It won't. The DV500 is legacy hardware that has no use at all with Premeire Pro 2.

In reality P Pro 2 in a new fast computer will outperform any of the real-time capabilites of the old DV500. But - you won't get analog video output.

For real-time editing with P Pro 2 the best choices are matrox accelerator cards. Either the RTX100 for DV or the new RT.X2 for DV & HDV footage.
