For some reason I have a few "Unknown" users listed in my TerraBlock Manager which I can't delete
and I think they cause some issues.
Don't know if it's related, but on some clients, when I log into TB, the manager will mount the volumes
but won't list them so I'm not able to change permissions/volume letter on this client and user.
When you see unknown user, it means the server has processed a login but can't get the host name. This normally only occurs on fibre channel clients that have scanned the server on boot but have yet to launch the Manager. The fact that it's happening on Ethernet clients (port 101), may mean there is a problem with the communication through the Manager console or a duplicate computer name may exist. Any recently installed or updated antivirus? Any network changes? All computer names unique? The inability of the server to get a unique host name would interfere with the volume display as you describe. We're open tomorrow for direct support if you'd like to call in then.
