Need to shutdown Terrablock server

I need to shutdown a facillis terrablock server safely to move it to a new location.

Does anyone have instructions on how to do that?

Hi Frederic,

The shut down procedure is simple, just unmount volumes from the client systems or turn them off, then initiate a standard windows shut down on the server, or use the power button on the front. Any additional outboard TX16 or T8 drive enclosures should be shut down last. If you're using volume spanning or mirroring between servers, contact us for the procedure to properly unmount the cross-server volumes.

When moving the system, you can keep the drives in the slots if you have an original shipping box and the move will be short. If it's a long move or over rough terrain, the drives should be removed and packed separately in shock-absorbing material.

When arriving at the new location: if the drives were shipped in the chassis, be sure that are all seated properly in the slots before powering on. In some cases, older server models or servers with added cards and without factory card stabilizers will have to be opened up and proper card seating will have to be verified.

Hope this helps.
