Files Disappear / Reappear on Facilis Terrablock 24D

Hi everybody,
We're having an issue with our fully populated Facilis Terrablock 24D. We are editing with three Avid Media Composers - two PCs on Nitris Boxes (MCv. 7.0.3 and v. 7.0.4), one on an AJA Kona card (MCv 7.0.3). The editors are all directly connected via fiber to the Facilis. We also have our animators using the Facilis storage as well. They are connected via ethernet from a switch. They are using Adobe cloud on Macs. We are having issues with Facilis recognizing what files it has.

We had an editor working on a project and footage that was transcoded suddenly went offline. He restarted the computer and it came back online. Our other editor imported audio clips into an Avid bin on his PC; when the other editor went to use them on his PC, they were offline. A computer restart also brought the files back online.

Editors are also seeing long waits while closing bins in Avid. Saving bins and opening bins take a really long time. We notice that the systems start to really lag by the end of the day and usually have to be restarted to make them run better.

The animators are having their own issues - if an animator copies a folder to Facilis and modifies the file folder, the clips inside disappear. The files are still in the folder, however. The animators have found that when they restart the finder, the files reappear.

Any suggestions? We've rescanned the Avid databases, we are using the latest version of the Facilis software 6, we've shut down Facilis while holding down power button for :30 and restarted the system.

The issues you are seeing a certainly not typical.

I see that you are working with our support team via e-mail who has given you some suggestions for troubleshooting the issues.
