What's the best tool to transfer DVD/BD ISO file into FCPX?

I have the ISO file on my system. It's the file I burn to disk. Just need to convert so I can get some clips off of it ASAP.

No go. Says "No Valid Source Found" in Handbrake.

MPEG Streamclip is so awesome, I would name my next child after it, but I fear that it will be inoperative in the newest mac OS. The new hotness I understand is called "ff-Works".

It's not free, but not expensive, either, and that's what I'll probably use when the old dice no longer roll.

[Mark Suszko] " The new hotness I understand is called "ff-Works". "

I'm also a big Streamclip fan - hadn't heard of 'ff-Works' so I took it for a spin just now. I think I have a new favorite Swiss Army knife!

Also, Ken - that ISO file is a disk image. You need to open it and point Handbrake (or whatever) to the VIDEO_TS folder inside the image... apologies if that's been tried.

FF-Works is, if I understand it right, a GUI front end on the older but loved ffmpeg, which was powerful and flexible but command-line-based, and thus intimidating and opaque to some folks.

It is indeed. I'm familiar with ffmpeg (needed to generate WebM files with alpha for a couple of clients), and I had an old copy of FFMPEGX floating around since I'm not fond of being a Terminal jockey, so this is a super find. The newer binaries are really capable transcoders for some pretty obscure formats.
