• | Creating TIFF of map for FCPX edit

Hi,
I need to generate a TIFF of a map of a country so I can zoom in (without losing quality) from the full wide of the country, to show the location of key cities and pan around showing how they sit geographically.
I've done this before but can't remember exactly the file types needed and how to implement for a FCPX edit.
Any help gratefully received.
Thank You

Just make sure your TIFF file is RGB and a good resolution. When you import it, it should be much larger than your video so that you can zoom right in.

Thanks Kathy,
Sorry if this seems obvious, but would photoshop do the trick? Essentially, would I import a png or jpg of high quality and then export as a RGB TIFF file? That can then be used in the edit.
If not, if you could walk me through the process step by step that would be great.
Appreciate your help. Joel
