macOS High Sierra Can't Read All My Drives

I just updated my OS from macOS Sierra to macOS High Sierra. In my "About this computer" under "Storage" is cannot read data on 2 of my 3 Seagate external drives.#1 and #3 are 5TB drives and "Storage" shows them as completely full, says "Zero KB available of 5TB. #1 actually has 1.12TB available and #3 has 4.49TB available.

BUT, I did just noticed #1 and #3 are formatted as Windows NT Filesystem, whereas #2 is Mac OS Extended (Journaled).

I'm guessing this is the problem and I should move data of #1 and #3 and reformat to Mac OS Extended (Journal)???

Am I on track with this one?

I believe you have found the problem. No version of macOS could write to NTFS drives without additional software (read but not write). That would explain why it is reporting that the drive is full. I'm guessing that whatever you used in Sierra to write to NTFS volumes has stopped working in High Sierra.

I just plugged my NTFS formatted RAID5 into my High Sierra MacBook Pro and I'm seeing the same thing.

Yea, if those are old drives left over from your PC days it's time to reformat them.

Yeah, that's the ticket.

I use Paragon NTFS for Mac on my Mac Pro to write to my NTFS formatted RAID which is also left over from my PC days. There are also some free alternatives but I like the idea of using supported software that has someone to call when things go wrong so I happily use a paid for solution.

I'll second Paragon's products - we recommend both the NTFS tool and the virtual disk tool for users almost daily.
