Hello guys!

I've got a following question: how do you usually go about effects when sending your edit for colour grading and they ask you a timeline clean of effects/transitions? Is there any way to save the references of effects like you can do in Avid (saving to a separate bin and then just reapplying them once you got your edit back colour graded). I'd be happy if you could share your tips on this kind of workflow 😉 thank you in advance!

You can save effects presets in FCPX and reapply them later.

Or you could copy/paste effects from the original timeline back to the new Resolve clips.

Or you could argue that any non-colour modifying effects are integral to the image and bake them in.
