Hi,

I really didn't know where to put this so thought i'd ask here as you've all probably dealt with VOB files before!

Got given a couple of VOB files of VHS that had been put on DVD. I converted them fine, but one of the files just looks like this:

Is this a problem with when they've converted it from VHS to digital? Or is it when i've converted it from VOB to mp4?

Russ

That looks like someone hit record at the wrong moment or maybe the VHS deck lost tracking- guessing there due to the classic blue screen of death emitted by old analog gear.

Yea it looks like it's from when they played it to record it to DVD.

Can't happen during conversion from vob to mp4?

I'll have to get them to capture it again I guess.

Hard to tell from one screenshot and knowing zip about their transfer process/quality control. Asking for another transfer would be my suggestion.
